Juliet R. Piccone
Juliet R. Piccone has been practicing in the insurance defense field since 2000.  She specializes in defense of personal injury lawsuits. Juliet has also handled a wide variety of other claims and lawsuits, including professional liability, wrongful death, insurance policy interpretation, bad-faith breach of contract, products and premises liability. Juliet has practiced in trial courts throughout Colorado, including federal court. She has also handled appeals at both the state and federal level and is admitted to the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals.

Born and raised in Wheat Ridge, Colorado, Juliet attended the University of Colorado in Boulder. Ever active, Juliet was a member of Phi Alpha Delta, a pre-law fraternity, the Golden Key Honor Society and Pi Sigma Alpha Honor Society. She also volunteered in the Boulder District Attorney’s Victims Assistance program, working with district attorneys and crime victims. Juliet was on the Dean’s list each of her four years at CU and graduated in the top 15% of her class in 1996. She then attended law school at the University of Colorado, where she graduated near the top of her class in 1999.

Following law school Juliet became a law clerk for the Honorable John-David Sullivan in Fort Collins, Colorado. There she gained invaluable experience and insight into the inner workings of Colorado’s civil trial system. Her experience there led her to her current career as an insightful and aggressive civil litigator.

When she is not practicing law, Juliet can usually be found outdoors enjoying Colorado’s beautiful scenes or gardening.   Juliet also inherited a creative streak and enjoys many arts and crafts in her spare time.  Juliet’s life-long love of animals led her to join the Board of Directors of Every Creature Counts, a no-kill, non-profit animal shelter, sanctuary and clinic dedicated to solving the pet overpopulation crisis, saving animals slated for euthanasia, and finding loving homes for cats and dogs.
